Worship With Us
We believe God yearns for our worship. We invite you to our worship service with open arms. We believe God's love is unconditional and we are called to share the love of Christ with everyone.
Our congregation accepts and teaches the Word of God found only in the Bible that inspired Martin Luther and the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teachings of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone. Our Christian worship service is held each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ►more info |
November 26, 2023 Service
Welcome to the Grace Lutheran Church. This Sunday is the last Sunday of the Church year. So… Happy new years! Next week, the colors will have changed to blue for the Advent season, which begins the new year. During Advent, we take on a spirit of penitence and anticipation as we wait for the coming of Christ. This waiting is twofold. While we certainly wait with joy and eagerness for our commemoration of the first coming of Christ on Christmas day, we also recognize this as a time of longing, of reflection on our sins, and of preparation for Christ’s second coming, on Judgment Day.
Especially, the Advent season prepares us for that second coming of Christ and orients our lives toward God and the Church that He established. As we gather, consider the additional services, fellowship events, and generosity that fills your life during the Advent season. Consider also, on this the last Sunday of the Church year, how God is reorienting your life toward Himself, and how He is calling you to give, serve, and live in His name this year.

We Invite You to Share Something
Do have a prayer request, joy, or a need? We believe God wants to hear your prayers. We believe by trusting in Him completely, our worries become His own. Nothing is too difficult for our God. The impossible becomes possible. When you believe that, it is easy to see the meaning of prayer in the Lutheran tradition. Please share something about yourself on our online prayer form. Please don't ever feel like you are alone. We are here to help. ►more info
